- The employer recruits learners for CHIETA accredited qualifications and learnerships
- Learner enrolment forms are completed by all relevant parties – the employer, provider and learner
- Attached to the learner registration document must be the following documentation: certified copies of learner identification document and all previous qualifications
- When documents are fully completed they send to CHIETA
- The learner registration forms are received by the document management department where they are captured on the MIS for tracking
- The document management unit then distributes learner registration forms to the relevant data capturers
- The Data Unit then evaluates, checks and verifies the learner registration
- If learner registration forms are 100% completed they are captured onto the MIS
- On capturing, the MIS automatically generates a learner enrolment number
- Generated enrolment numbers are then e-mailed to the employer or training provider
- After successfully completing the specific learnership, alearner achievement report (Status Form) is submitted to CHIETA
- When the trport is fully completed it is send to CHIETA
- The learner status forms are received by the document management department where they are captured on the MIS for tracking
- The document management unit then distributes learner status forms to the relevant data capturers
- The Data Unit then evaluates, checks and verifies the learner status forms
- If learner status forms are 100% completed they are captured onto the MIS
- Learner’s file is pulled by the filing department and sent for certification
- If all CHIETA requirement documents are not submitted, the Data Management Unit will not be able to process application forms
